Before you read this one, please note it is the sixth book in a series. You need to have read each of the other books in order or this installment won’t make much sense to you.As it has been quite a while since this series has had a new installment, I went back and re-read each of the previous books first to make sure I was grounded on where this one was attempting to go. After the buildup, it was a bit disappointing as it appeared rushed and the dialogue between the characters – human and alien – was choppy. Many of the new developments didn’t seem that believable, and there was clearly a difference in the quality of the writing of the earlier novels of the series compared to where we are today as it seems to be on a downward trend. A lot of the dialogue of the Kleese is very similar to the dialogue in the author’s Zorn series. While billed as “the final conflict,” the door was left wide-open for a sequel as nothing was really resolved with either faction of the Kleese. It wasn’t all bad, as I felt as if I received my purchase price of $3.99 worth of entertainment value out of this one. If you had enjoyed the previous installments of the series as much as I have, it might be disappointing.

Just finished the last book in this very excellent series and it wraps up quite nicely the whole Zaltule situation. But like many of Raymond's stories there is wriggle-room for another book which I'm hoping the author will get around to writing - I want to know what happen's to the colony (if you want further details y'all will just have to read the book), not to mention the Kleese are still an unresolved problem for the Alliance and the people of Earth. Great action and massive battles pepper the story-line - the requisite firey explosions from several megatons worth of anti-matter missiles exploding against ship hulls making the readers pulse race as the action ramps up.Galactic Wars: Final Conflict centres around Thomas Nelson - the son of Ryan Nelson who was one he main heroes of the previous books. Like his father he is a marine and beknown to him he will be tasked to fulfull the ultimate in dangerous missions, one he may not live through. Overall, this is a great book - excellent characters, stunning battles and tense action make this a highly recommended series :)

Outstanding, I always can count on your series' to be exciting, adventurous, frought with danger and over the top action. Additionally, the always hungry Marines who love to stalk food courts around the universe...lol Here is too your quick recovery back to your writing passions. I look forward to seeing more of the Originator Series and I salute you in all the universes you find a storyline to bring to my attention. You write them and I will read them, thanks Raymond for a GoodRead.

When I first saw that there was a new book in the series I was absolutely thrilled. I loved the series the first time around all the way up to the fifth book. this book as well was also just as amazing and intense. However it wasn't as thrilling or as exciting as the previous books of this series. It didn't leave anything to be desired but it was not as action-packed as the previous books were. That's the only reason it gets four stars

Well it had to finish one day, pity, I have been so engrossed in this series, the characters were certainly believable, the technology not way over the top as you get from some SciFi writers, I still think the Zaltule should have been eliminated or at least attempted to give the Kleese a smack before they departed.Look forward to the next Series.

I was concerned that the series had ended with a lot of loose threads until I read this installment. As with the earlier books Weil does an excellent job of balancing in interactions of the primary characters with the large space battles. The premise is very believable and you are unsure how the book will end until the final chapters. I hope Mr. Weil is able to complete the series in the near future with how the Alliance deals with the Kleese. Please keep up the good work.

The continuation of the series takes care of one of the villains like to see what happens to the do the other aliens and see what happens to the Colony I eagerly await more books from the series

I enjoyed seeing the conclusion of an interesting series. Multi generational character arcs provided new people to enjoy and and I recommend this series to any military sci fi enthusiast.
